Baptism
A Public Declaration

Going Public With Your Faith

Baptism is a powerful step of obedience—a public declaration that you have put your faith in Jesus Christ.

It's not about earning salvation but celebrating it. Just as Jesus was baptized, we follow His example and command.

Galatians 3:27

1 Peter 3:21

...this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God.

Acts 8:36

As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, "Look, here is water. What can stand in the way of my being baptized?"

Common Questions

We practice believer's baptism by immersion, which means we baptize those who have made a personal decision to follow Jesus. We do offer child dedication services for infants and young children.

If you were baptized as an infant or child before making a personal faith decision, we encourage you to be baptized as a believer now. This is a beautiful way to declare your own faith.

No, baptism is for anyone who has put their faith in Jesus, regardless of membership status. We do encourage you to consider membership as your next step!

Wear dark clothing (like a t-shirt and shorts) that won't become transparent when wet. We provide changing areas and towels. Many people also bring a change of clothes.

Absolutely! Baptism is a celebration, and we encourage you to invite everyone! We have special seating for families and a reception afterward.

That's completely normal! Our baptism team will walk you through everything, and you'll be supported by pastors and volunteers who will help you feel comfortable.
